Hillsdale Academy beats No. 2 Lenawee Christian on its home court for fifth straight district title

The Hillsdale Academy volleyball team added an exciting new chapter to the program's building legacy on Saturday as it used defense and teamwork to take out No. 2 Lenawee Christian in four sets to earn the Colts fifth consecutive district title.

Seniors Grace Leutheuser and Laura Wonders become the first players in school history to be part of four district championship teams, first-year head Katherine Jones has proven there was no need to expect a letdown with the departure of Matt Miller, and the fourth-ranked Colts are moving on to regional play.
After losing the first set 22-25 the Colts came out more motivated than ever, taking out the Cougars 25-21, 26-24, 25-18.

Wonders had 11 kills and four blocks and Heather Lantis had 38 assists.
