My Five Fav online Hillsdale College Sports videos

I watch, disect, analyze and write about Hillsdale College sports for a living, so I think it gives me the liberty to provide you with my five favorite Chargers athletic videos that can be found at various places throughout the virtual world. Hopefully this provides a little relief from whatever you're doing, including those of you who just happened to pop on over during your work hours. Just remember to tell your boss you already clocked out and that's why you're eating Cheetos and watching Charger vids. Enjoy.

6. Get in the mood, getcha candy apples ready (because they serve those at Charger football games!)

I know I said "Five Fav" but this is certainly worth the 17 seconds it takes up. I sometimes come home from Charger football game disapointed with the fan turnout, but at least a few faitfhul fans know what a good time can be had at Frank "Muddy" Waters Stadium.

5. Watch Waldie Work It

This is by far the longest of any of the videos, but is a great, professional looking video of recent Charger grad, star wideout Aaron Waldie. This video demonstrates just how much acceleration and body control the little guy has. It's too bad his chances at an NFL slot are slim to none, but he gave Hillsdale fans plenty to talk about the past three seasons.

4. Slicing and dicing like it was 1991...hold up it was!

Heading into the '09 campaign Scott Schulte is still the school's all-time leading rusher, totaling 4,495 yards on the ground from 1990-93. That number is more than 1,000 yards ahead of second place, although current HB Vinnie Panizzi may make a run at the record books. Anyways, here's a few quick glances of this one-time Hillsdale stud, from his sophomore campaign. Good stuff.

3. Treating the opponent like he's a fence

I almost feel bad putting this here...wait no I don't. Even though it is Luke Laser, a beloved Hillsdale High grad, getting emphatically dunked on, it is seriously Sportscenter Top 10 worthy. Northwood's Chris Johnson has no regard for Laser as he goes up and over him in a 2009 contest at Jesse Phillips Arena.

2. How many fingers am I holding up?

Charger running back Vinnie Panizzi is "ka-thumped" in the 2008 Hillsdale College spring game. QBs can't be hit in these glorified scrimmages, but apparently it's okay to use reckless abandon and go Bob Sanders on your team's starting halfback. The first time to hit is shown it's GOOD, but wait for the slow-mo replay. John Madden doesn't have enough "BOOMS" to go around for this one.

1. No need for a cat fight here

Former Hillsdale College All-American volleyball stud Melissa Bartlett delivers a knockout punch here...literally, without ever crossing through to the other side. The opponent gets creamed with a Bartlett kill and goes down like a domino. For being such a nice girl this is pretty vicious! All in the name of winning baby. If only all volleyball matches had this type of drama for your mama!

Haha....extremely good addition. It really makes me wish a group of guys would throw on some skirts or kilts and wear pig tails just to give the team a cheerleading presence. And for the record I'm extremely straight, I just enjoy utterly ridiculous things, especially at sporting events. Thanks for the vid.

Andy...ahhh I LOVED watching Nicolet pick apart the Eagle defense that day. Thanks for tossing that on there.

Re: skirts: I seem to remember some guys going that in conjunction with the pit crew for homecoming or something one year (maybe when I was a junior? 06? Can't remember...). Needless to say, it wasn't a pretty sight.
