Colts stay perfect
The Burr Oak Bobcats were not even a small speed-bump for the Hillsdale Academy Colts Friday, as Jeff Hubbard's team improved to 4-0 overall and in the SCAA with a 61-17 win.
Shena Albaugh, Carly Hubbard and Heather Lantis all scored a game-high 12 points, and 10 different Colts players scored in all.
The Academy jumped out to a 23-4 lead after one quarter and the route was on.
Albaugh added nine steals and Hubbard had five takeaways.
Lantis pitched in nine rebounds and four assists and Emily Pewe had eight boards.
Jade Summer led Burr Oak with six points.

Rangers take control in fourth
It took Reading three quarters to figure out the Homer press Friday night, but they came through in a big way in the final quarter to win their first Big Eight contest.
All told the Rangers had 28 turnovers, but they out-scored the Trojans 26-8 in the final period thanks to an effective press-break to improve to 4-2 overall and 1-2 in the conference.
The end result? A 58-37 victory.
The beneficiary of many of the successfully run attempts to avoid pressure was Emily Sigler, who scored a career-high 22 points to go with five rebounds.
Tessa Pridgeon and Alex Mailahn each added seven points, while Nicole Marsh tallied five steals and five assists.
Nikki Wurster was Homer's only player in double figures. She scored 17 points.
